Use the best symbols. Learn the meanings in the basic circuit symbols and choose the best ones to make use of. Some in the symbols have really close look. You have to find a way to inform the differences before applying them.

Draw connecting wires as straight lines. Use a dot to indicate line junction, or use line jumps to indicate cross lines which are not connected.
Label components such as resistors and capacitors with their values. Make sure the text placement looks clean.

In general it is good that will put the positive (+) supply at the very top, and also the negative (-) supply at the end, and also the logical flow from left to right.
